Bernard Cobb is the Founder/CEO of Inflection Point Technologies, a team of exceptional engineers that help organizations secure and streamline access to their cloud-first infrastructure.
After watching The Matrix in 1999, Bernard found his passion in Information Technology. He didn’t see Neo the bullet dodger, he saw Neo the programmer and saw the information technology field as a path to a better life. He studied for an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) but fell in love with networking, so he pursued his Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Shortly after obtaining his CCNA in 2002, Bernard joined Data Network Solutions. There he spent over twenty years growing that organization and its engineering team.
While there he also designed and delivered solutions to their government, educational, and commercial institutions—including the second-largest employer in South Carolina—customers while holding the highest standards and delivering exceptional outcomes.
During that time, Bernard saw the challenge organizations had in maintaining security while also not trying to impede how their employees accomplished their goals. This was becoming difficult with an increasingly complicated technology stack landscape, changing work landscape, and ever-tightening compliance requirements. So, in 2023, he founded Inflection Point Technologies to address this challenge by leveraging the newfound power of enterprise browser solutions.
Outside of professional pursuits, Bernard is a loving husband and father, investor, a track cycling world champion, and a Board co-President (along with his wife) of the Columbia Children’s Theatre.
